  • ITs Ok to have no gender

By |February 28th, 2014|

Bulle du jour: I always find it interesting when people talk about gender! And i have to say i love to bring people to reflect on the subject because there seems to be a line that is cemented between the two genders. Or a box we absolutly need to fit in. What if someone feel's they belong in the middle? Can't we choose the door we want to go through? Why do we have this tendency to be pink or blue? What if some people feel purple? Or choose between a dress and a tie...Is it ok? I say: Let yourself open the door that feels right for you. Erase the line that is blocking you. Wear a dress with a bow tie if you feel like it. And embrace the purple that surrounds you!...ITs OK!

  • Are you Ok?

Coffee shop moment with Dominic Tardif – Newspaper article

By |February 21st, 2014|

Last week, I had the pleasure to sit down with Dominic Tardif from the newspaper 'La Nouvelle' to talk about the ITs Ok Project, the messages and the story behind it all. Here's what he captured from our meet up at the really nice and cozy coffee shop Bistro Kàapeh Espresso in Sherbrooke. Thank you Dominic! * Note the article is in French! • If we all have a heart

By |February 17th, 2014|

ITs Ok Bubble of the day: As i was running the other day, a man across the street started to cheer me on. His words actually felt sincere: '' Bravo! Ta du coeur au moin! Ta du coeur au moin...!'' As he repeated several times these words, it resonated in me. So i thought to myself as if i was reminded of it or being aware for the first time '' Yes, I do have a heart! Infact, we all have a heart!!!''. And that awakening moment felt so.. relieving! Whether we put our heart into the work and the things we do, that's another story! But as long as we have a heart we are ok! Because that means there's a place to grow love and a desire to do good!...ITs Ok!

A little while back as i was learning to connect with myself & my artistic instincts for the first time, fortunes of life brought me to discover this documentary about the Creative Process. No need to say it helped me make peace with myself. I was relieved to see that i wasn't alone out there. And facinated to learn that the creative process was a common experience but at the same time so different for everyone! It's definitely a great & inspiring documentary worth seeing and sharing! FROM NOTHING, SOMTHING http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAcbVnp_pbo Take care ITs OK!

Brainwashed with positive energy

By |February 12th, 2014|

A few weeks ago, i caught myself humming this joyful song... '' What a wonderful kind of day. If you can learn to work and play And get along with each other You got to listen to your heart Listen to the beat Listen to the rhythm The rhythm of the street Open up your eyes Open up your ears Get together and make things better By working together! It's a simple message and it comes from the heart Believe in yourself cause that's the place to start '' I knew that song was coming a long way back from my childhood. But where? After a few minutes of trying to link these words to my past, i finally figured it out...ARTHUR & FFRIENDS!!! But why am i singing this all of a sudden? So i sat down with myself and thought about all of this for a moment. And i came to the conclusion that if my heart and my brain are so stubbornly filled with love, hope and with this idea that anything is possible, I totally ow it to my parents & teachers & PBS who brain washed me at a young age with those kinds of positive messages! And i'm glad they did! Now it's my turn to try to spread that positive energy back to you! ITs Ok!

To be grateful of the abundance that we have!

By |February 1st, 2014|

Because it's so easy to take things for granted. We tend to forget to say thank you when we live in abundance.  Knowing that life is in a constant change, i try to remind myself to be grateful of what i have right now at this very moment. When my heart is filled with love and inner peace, i know i have everything. When i add food, water and a warm cozy home surrounded by those i love, i am blessed!-ITs Ok!
